Advertising disclosure. This independent comparison website helps consumers choose the best available product that meets their needs. We offer a high quality advertising service by only featuring established brands from registered operators in our reviews. Please note that while we try to provide you with up-to-date information, we do not compare all operators on the market.

Affiliate disclosure. The main focus of golfbetting.ca is to provide you with objective online casino reviews and guides. To sponsor our model, we include affiliate links in our content. If you register through such a link, we will receive a small commission at the cost of the casino; this does not affect the terms of your own deal. We do not compromise on the quality of our service and list only registered operators that have been checked and tested based on our methodology.

What to include

A correction that names the page and the exact claim can be checked in minutes. A correction that says a page is wrong somewhere takes a day and often gets the wrong line. If the figure you are correcting comes from an operator, saying where the current version is published settles it immediately.

Screenshots help for anything that has since changed on the operator's own site, because account terms and place fractions move without notice and the previous wording is rarely recoverable afterwards.

What this site can and cannot help with

We are not a sportsbook. We do not hold accounts, take deposits, settle bets or have any access to your account with an operator. A dispute about a settled bet, a withdrawal or a closed account has to go to the operator first, and then to the regulator if it is not resolved. In Ontario that is the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and elsewhere it is the provincial body that runs the market.

We also cannot give tax advice, legal advice or advice on whether a particular bet is a good idea. What we can do is correct anything on these pages that is inaccurate, and explain how a market works if the explanation here was not clear enough.

Complaints about a sportsbook

This site cannot resolve a dispute with an operator, because it has no access to your account and no say in how a bet is settled. The quickest route is almost always the operator's own customer service, with your account name, the bet reference and the time it was placed.

If you bet in Ontario with a registered operator and the answer does not settle it, iGaming Ontario publishes a player complaints process on its website, and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulates the operators themselves. Keep screenshots of the bet slip and the settlement, because a complaint backed by a record moves faster than one from memory.

If a page on this site described an operator's terms in a way that no longer matches what you saw, tell us which page and which term. That is a correction we can act on, and it helps the next reader.

If betting has stopped being a hobby

Please do not write to us first. The Canadian services are free, confidential and staffed by people trained for exactly this, and they are listed on the responsible gambling page. ConnexOntario operates a line twenty-four hours a day, and the equivalent service exists in every province.

The editorial standards behind the comparisons are set out on the editorial standards page, and the reasoning behind each market is in the golf betting guide.

Common questions

Questions about getting in touch

01

How do I report something on the site that is wrong?

Write to the legal address with the page URL and the specific claim you are disputing. A sentence of detail is worth more than a general complaint, because it lets the page be re-checked rather than guessed at.

Operator terms change often. If a price, a place fraction or a licensing detail has moved, saying which one and where you saw the current version gets it fixed fastest.

02

How long does a reply take?

Two business days for ordinary enquiries. Factual corrections are handled ahead of everything else and are usually acknowledged the same working day.

A correction is applied to the page itself and the page is re-checked as a whole, rather than patched at the point of the complaint.

03

Can I ask for my data to be removed?

Yes. Use the privacy address, and include enough detail to identify the records you mean.

The full explanation of what is collected and why is on the privacy policy page.

04

Do you accept guest posts or paid placements?

No. Nothing in the comparison is for sale and no ranking position can be bought, which is set out on the editorial standards page.

Commercial enquiries are read, but a link or a placement is not something this site sells.
